Management of inclusive development of the national economy

Abstract

The concept of inclusive economic development, which has been actively developing in recent years, is highly relevant. A report made at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2018 substantiated the need to abandon the single universal indicator of economic growth – GDP – and move to the Inclusive Development Index (IDI), which evaluates countries according to the criteria of growth, equity and sustainability. This is particularly relevant for Ukraine, where the share of the shadow economy is higher than in the EU, and GDP growth is mostly inflationary, so there is no link between GDP growth and the improvement of living standards.
