Abstract: Depression is a global frequent mental illness, which usually brings a great economic burden on the society. The main symptoms of depression are memory loss, difficulty concentrating, and various cognitive disorders. For the treatment of depression, common treatments include drugs such as sertraline, cognitive behavioral therapy, and corresponding neuromodulation techniques for depression. Traditional Chinese medicine has a long history of treating depression in China. The common therapies to relieve depression include Traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture, among which this Chinese medicine has a variety of pharmacological effects and has significant effects in the treatment of depression and other diseases. Sini powder has the effects of regulating liver and spleen, penetrating evil and relieving depression, and can play antidepressant effects by regulating immune inflammation and synaptic plasticity.
